AASC

Run AASC with npm

Run the server from source on macOS, Windows or Linux with Node.js 22.12 or later, then use the dashboard in any browser. It is the same dashboard as the desktop app.
The LIVE board on a smaller window: nine session cards in four columns, two of them waiting for you.

Install

You need Node.js 22.12 or later, Git, and Claude Code or the Codex CLI (0.130 or later). On macOS and Linux, also install jq, which the hooks use to match events to the right terminal.
git clone https://github.com/coding-by-feng/ai-agent-session-center.gitcd ai-agent-session-centernpm installnpm rebuild better-sqlite3 node-ptynpm run buildnpm start

npm rebuild builds the two native modules for your version of Node. If it fails, install a compiler: the Xcode Command Line Tools on macOS, build-essential on Linux, or the Visual Studio Build Tools on Windows.

To update later, run git pull, then npm install, npm run build and npm start again.

First run

  1. Start the server

npm start registers the hooks with Claude Code (and Codex, once you turn it on) every time it starts, and opens the dashboard at http://localhost:3333 in your browser.

  2. Run an agent

Start claude or codex in any terminal. The session appears on the LIVE board within a moment.

  3. Open it

Click the session to open its terminal, conversation, project files, notes and queue.

Everyday commands

npm start
Start the server after a build. The dashboard is at localhost:3333.
npm start -- --port 4444
Use another port, for example to run a second copy.
npm run set-password
Set the password other devices sign in with.
npm run uninstall-hooks
Remove the hooks from the Claude Code and Codex settings.
npm run reset
Remove the hooks and delete history and settings, after backing them up.

From another device

Set a password with npm run set-password, then open http://<your computer's address>:3333 on the other device. Without a password, every device but this computer is refused.

Each session stays on this computer until you share it. A phone browser gets a layout made for phones: more about phones.
