AASC

See which agent needs you.

One dashboard for every Claude Code and Codex session, with live terminals, a prompt queue and phone access.

The LIVE board on a smaller window: nine session cards in four columns, two of them waiting for you.
A session chat on the phone with a card asking to allow the command npm test.

Five states, read at a glance.

Every card says what its session is doing, in its own colour. By default AASC only makes a sound when a session needs you or finishes a turn, and you can mute a session or put an alert on it.

Working
Running tools and writing code.
Approval needed
Wants to run a tool and is waiting for your yes.
Waiting for input
Asked you a question.
Waiting
Finished its turn. Your move.
Idle
Nothing running.

Three ways to run it.

The same server and the same sessions are behind every screen. Start with one and add the others when you need them.

Desktop app

The whole dashboard as an app with the server built in, so you do not need Node.js. A setup wizard checks your tools and installs the hooks, and the app can keep your computer awake while agents work.

  • Mac with Apple silicon
  • Windows x64
  • Linux x64

Run with npm

Run the server from source with Node.js 22.12 or later, then open localhost:3333 in any browser.

git clone https://github.com/coding-by-feng/ai-agent-session-center.gitcd ai-agent-session-centernpm installnpm rebuild better-sqlite3 node-ptynpm run buildnpm start

Phone

Check sessions, answer approvals and queue prompts from your phone. Any phone browser works today; the app for Android and iPhone is in private testing.

Everything about a session, one click away.

Read what each agent did

Open a session to see its conversation, rebuilt from the transcript and searchable, beside its terminal, files and notes.

  • Model, effort and context use in the header
  • Claude and Codex plan limits, 5-hour and weekly
  • Search across the whole conversation

The rest of the toolkit.

Answer from your phone.

Approve a tool, answer a question or queue the next prompt when you are away from your desk. Your phone sees only the sessions you share with it.

  • Sessions that need you are listed first
  • Each session as a chat, with cards for approvals and questions
  • What changed, file by file, and the project files, read-only
  • The same prompt queue as your desktop

Runs on your machine.

Your sessions, prompts, terminal output and files stay on your computer. Nothing reaches another device unless you let it.

  1. Claude Code or Codex
  2. Hook script
  3. Event file
  4. AASC server
  5. Your screens
An event reaches your screen 3 to 17 ms after the agent fires it. The hook runs in the background, so your agent never waits for it.
  • A password for other devices

Until you set one, AASC refuses every device except the computer it runs on.

  • Shared sessions only

Phones and other browsers see only the sessions you share with them.

  • Phones pair with a code

The AASC phone app, now in private testing, pairs by QR code once you check the same 6-digit code on both screens.

  • Open source

MIT-licensed, with no account and no analytics. Read the code.

Questions

Is AASC free?
Yes. It is open source under the MIT license, with no account, no paid tier and no analytics.
Which coding agents does it work with?
Claude Code, and the Codex CLI from version 0.130 (Codex hooks are opt-in). On macOS and Linux, install jq as well, so events are matched to the right terminal.
Does it slow my agent down?
No. The hook appends one line to a local file in the background and returns at once. The dashboard picks the event up from there.
What does it change on my computer?
It adds hook entries to ~/.claude/settings.json (and ~/.codex/config.toml if you turn Codex on), hook scripts in ~/.claude/hooks/, and a small last-session file in each project's .claude folder. It also sets your terminal tab's title. To remove the hooks, use Uninstall in the app's hook settings, or npm run uninstall-hooks from source; AASC adds them again the next time it starts.
Why does macOS say the app is damaged?
The app is not notarized by Apple, so macOS blocks it after a download. It is not damaged. Click Cancel, then follow the macOS install steps.
Can I use it from my phone?
Yes. Set a password, share the sessions you want, and open your computer's address in a phone browser to get a layout made for phones. An app for Android and iPhone is in private testing. More about phones.

Free, open source and yours to run.
